A suggested itinerary from Golf Travel ETC:
Day 1 ARRIVE DUBAI
Upon Arrival at Dubai Airport Terminal, you will be met and taken by private
transfer to your hotel. After a welcome drink, relax for the afternoon.
Tonight you board one of the world’s best fine dining cruises – Bateaux Dubai. Created by Seine Design, France, Bateaux Dubai seamlessly
combines cutting-edge technology and optimal comfort. The Executive Chef
creatively combines Eastern and Western flavors in a freshly prepared
four-course menu. An extensive beverage selection including excellent wines and
non-alcoholic choices are also available.
After dinner you are escorted back to the hotel for the night.
Day 2 DUBAI
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Emirates Golf Club for a round of
Golf.
Voted number 1 of the Top 100 golf courses outside of the US by Golf Digest (May
2009), it has been host to the Dubai Desert Classic and Dubai Ladies Masters.
It boasts of two of the city’s finest must-play courses; The Majlis and The Faldo.
This afternoon enjoy an escorted tour of the city.
Evening at leisure.
Day 3 DUBAI
Today’s golf is at Al Badia Golf Course. Capturing the character and beauty of Arabia,
the 18-hole, par-72 Al Badia course was designed on an oasis theme by
internationally renowned golf architect Robert Trent Jones II. The championship
course incorporates eleven lakes, several smaller ponds, streams and numerous
cascading waterfalls.
After golf relax in "Spikes" with its diverse menu, from a light or substantial
lunch to delicious end-of-day refreshments. Return to the hotel to relax.
This afternoon meet your guide for a Desert Safari Extravaganza!! Off to the
high dunes to do ‘dune bashing’. For the adventurous the driver takes you on a roller coaster ride dune after
dune before giving you a short break at a camel farm to see the ‘ship of the desert’.
Drive to a Bedouin camp after sunset, where you are welcomed in traditional
Arabic style with dates and Arabic coffee. Settle in for the evening with drinks from the open bar. Ladies can have their hands painted with
beautiful henna designs. Men can smoke the ‘sheesha’ (Hookah) popularly know as the hubbly-bubbly. End the evening with a sumptuous
barbeque dinner and a belly dance show performed by an expert dancer. Return to
the hotel by 4x4 vehicles after an evening that will definitely be a memorable
one!
Day 4 DUBAI
The morning starts with a round of Golf at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club.
Voted amongst one of the world’s ‘Top 100 Must-Play Golf Courses’, this is a resort that incorporates an 18 hole championship golf course, a 9
hole Par 3 course and a golf academy.
The superbly manicured fairways are undulating, lined by date and palm trees,
and challenging water hazards.
Lunch is organized in the clubhouse.
Evening is at leisure.
Day 5 DUBAI
This morning after a leisurely breakfast, your guide will take you to the
historical Bastakiya district with its narrow lanes (sikkas). The Bastakiya district is a step back
in time to the days before electricity and air-conditioning, where traditional
courtyard houses were cooled by wind towers.
Return to your hotel for lunch at your leisure.
This afternoon, golf at the Montgomerie Dubai, designed by Colin Desmond Muirhead.
The links-like fairways with generous landing areas challenge and intrigue all
levels of golfers. Return to the hotel for the night.
Day 6 DEPART DUBAI
This morning you are transferred to the international airport to board your
flight back home.
